Rinheat has received its fifth order for a renewal of a TMP-steam reboiler upperpart.
Rinheat has received its fifth order for a renewal of a TMP-steam reboiler upperpart. The installation of the new equipment is decided to take place in November 2025. The target for the project is to renew an old reboiler shell and heating surface area, that has come to the end of its lifecycle.
The advantage of renewing only the upper part is that you can utilize the acid-resistant lower part, which is often in the same shape as new equipment. There to the renewing of the upper part gives the following advantages compared to a renewal of the whole vessel:
- Lower investment cost due to less amount of new material
- Shorter delivery time
- Shorter installation time
- Minor piping work. The new upper part nozzles can be installed in the same places
- No foundation work
- Possibility to use old instruments, platforms and pumps
